Managing Partner profile
Gavin Fernandes graduated from the London School of Economics in 1998. Gavin qualified as a Chartered Accountant and a Chartered Tax Adviser with Deloitte, working initially in their audit practice, and then later on as a consultant in the Corporate Tax department in London. Gavin felt that he could make a career by helping smaller clients, and also by assisting with personal taxation matters as well as corporate tax matters, and so set up M G Accountants & Co in 2003. Gavin acquired the Practice of Mathie, Neal, Dancer in 2006 when the remaining Partners retired and therefore sold their business. Building on the goodwill of the Mathie, Neal, Dancer & Co brand, the two practices merged together and took on the Mathie, Neal, Dancer & Co. name. The practice was initially set up in Gavin’s home town of Ruislip, in North West London, but through an increase in demand for specialist personal tax and corporate tax services, more and more clients from Central London have been using our services. We have therefore opened up a 2nd office close to Baker Street in Central London to provide bespoke taxation services to high wealth individuals and small & medium sized businesses operating in central London.
